Extract printed text from an image
TextLens turns a local JPEG, PNG or static WebP into editable text using on-device OCR.
Choose a clear image
Import or drop an image, check orientation, and crop to the printed text using the pixel fields. Working images are normalized upright with EXIF orientation, downsampled when necessary, and placed on white. The source on disk is unchanged. Crop coordinates refer to the rotated working image. Reset image restores its full area and orientation.
Choose the printed language
English and Spanish are supported. Choose the language in your image and explicitly load its bundled assets. Only app/engine/language assets are downloaded; document pixels are not uploaded. Changing language applies to the next extraction and does not rewrite completed pages.
Review before saving
Extract text, compare it with the OCR input, and edit errors. Names, numbers, accents and reading order need particular care. Copy a page with an explicit click, download page TXT/JSON, or export the entire completed queue in its current order.
